This Privacy Policy describes how Coronel Argenta LLC ("we", "us", "our"), operator of BuilderPilot, collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use builderpilot.app and our related services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, business details), when using BuilderPilot features (project data, leads, estimates, photos, documents, contact records), and automatically through usage (IP address, device info, browser type, operating system, usage patterns, cookies). We also collect information from third-party integrations you authorize, such as Google Calendar or QuickBooks.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide, maintain, and improve BuilderPilot; process payments through Stripe; send transactional communications (account notifications, billing, support) and, with your opt-in, marketing communications; comply with legal obligations; prevent fraud and abuse; enforce our Terms; and generate aggregate analytics to improve the product.
3. Data Sharing with Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate BuilderPilot, under contractual data-protection obligations: Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing. Meta WhatsApp Business Platform — messaging with your customers. Twilio — operational SMS and voice notifications. Google Cloud (Vision AI) — OCR and document processing. OpenAI — AI-assisted features (quotes, summaries). Supabase — database and authentication hosting. Vercel — application hosting. Sentry — error monitoring and diagnostics. Google Workspace — email support communications. We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order; to protect our rights, property, or safety; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to you).
4. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting support@builderpilot.app. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting support. California Residents (CCPA). If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act: the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to opt out of the "sale" of personal information (we do not sell), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise CCPA rights, email support@builderpilot.app. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for the duration of your active subscription. Upon cancellation or termination, we retain Customer Data for 30 days, during which you may request export or reactivation. After 30 days, we delete or anonymize Customer Data, except where longer retention is required by law (for example, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention records, typically retained for 7 years), or where necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Aggregate, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access control, Row-Level Security (RLS) for multi-tenant data isolation in our database, regular backups, and security monitoring through Sentry. No internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality (authentication, session management via Supabase), security (CSRF protection), and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to use parts of the service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not share cookie data with advertisers.
8. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
BuilderPilot is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact support@builderpilot.app and we will promptly delete it.
9. International Data Transfers
BuilderPilot servers are hosted in the United States. If you access the service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. By using the service, you consent to this transfer. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email and by posting a notice on the service at least 15 days before taking effect. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
